A little vacation!

Well, I'm about to hit the road for the weekend.  Myself and 6 of my friends rented a cabin in Wisconsin to celebrate the New Year.  A nice little 5 bedroom cabin with kitchen, living room, and even a fitness room.  Just finished packing the car and waiting for Dana to get home and we're off!

I'll post some pictures when we get back and let you all know how it was.  Maybe even drop a link of the place if I like it and recommend it to you all.  Catch you later, and Happy New Year!

About me:

Guess I'll start off by telling you guys a little about me.  I'm 24 years old and I live in Illinois with my fiance Daniela.  A little over a year ago I finished 5 years active duty in the United States Marine Corps where I worked as an Electronic Countermeasures Technician with the squadron VMAQ-2.  My duty station was in Cherry Point, North Carolina where I was deployed twice from to Al Asad Air Base, Iraq.

Currently I'm a student at DeVry University and am working towards a Bachelor's in Computer Information Systems.  I'm not quite sure exactly what my plans for the future are in a career stand point, but I'm sure it'll land me somewhere computer wise.

That's all I really feel like sharing for now, if anyone has comments or questions feel free to leave them below and I'll answer them to the best of my ability.

New to blogging!

Alright, here goes nothing!  I've been hearing lots of talk from a few friends I play video games with about blogging, so I decided to give it a shot.  As of right now, I'm thinking this blog will be geared to gaming - more specifically the games that I enjoy playing.  But who knows, it could lead into other things.  I'll keep you guys posted!

I enjoy a wide range of different kinds of game types, but I'm more of a PC gamer over console.  The games I currently play the most are World of Warcraft and League Of Legends.  Starwars may soon grab my attention, but I might just hold out until Diablo is released.  Who knows!
